For much of my working life I enjoyed a rewarding career in business finance, but painting was always there in the background. It was a passion that never disappeared, patiently waiting for the day I could give it the time and attention it deserved.

Retirement gave me that opportunity.

Today I work from my home studio in Hove, where every painting is another step in an exciting new chapter. Some days bring success, others bring lessons, but every painting teaches me something and encourages me to push a little further.

This website is a record of that journey. It includes selected earlier works alongside my latest paintings, allowing visitors to see not only the finished pieces but also the evolution of my work as I continue to develop my own artistic voice.

My ambition is simple: to create paintings that people enjoy living with, return to time and again, and remember long after they have first seen them.
